Excursion to Radha Krishna Temple
On January 3, 2014, we, all the students of class 3 from Galaxy Public School, went on excursion to Radha Krishna temple.We reached the temple on Friday morning. The priests told us a story about Lord Krishna, made us dance and sing songs. There were many statues, pictures, trees, flowers etc. We enjoyed the trip to the temple and learned the story of Lord Krishna. Sri Radha Krishna Temple, also known as ISKCON temple, was established on Baishak 1st, 2054 in Nepal. The temple is located in Bhudhanilkantha at the bank of Visnumati river on the lap of Shivapuri Conservation area.It has 50 ropanies of land including temple, guest house, garden, gausala, restaurant etc. In this temple the deities of Sri Radha Govinda Hari, Jagannath, Baladev, Suvadra and Gaur Nitae are worshiped. all about lions Lions are relatives of cats like pumas, tigers and cats. Lions are carnivores (meat eaters). They are also good scavengers. A baby lion or a lioness is called a cub. A group of lions are called a pride. In a pride there are mostly lionesses and atleast one, two or sometimes three lions! The commonly used term African lion collectively denotes the several subspecies found in Africa. They were found in most of Africa, across Eurasia from western Europe to India, and in the Americas from the Yukon to Peru. The lion is a vulnerable species, having seen a major population decline in its African range of 30–50% per two decades during the second half of the 20th century.
